Programme

We run three regular sessions per week. Mondays evenings are Graded or Handicapped to give less experienced players some encouragement. The Wednesday evening session is Open and is more competitive. Saturday afternoon is a more social event and frequent visitors from the Otago Club are welcomed. Hand records are provided for those who want them at the end of all sessions.

The table money for all sessions is $2.50 which covers 3 hours of bridge and a cup of tea or coffee at the intermission.
Annual subscriptions are currently $55 including levies, if paid on time.

Tournament Programme

The Club runs three tournaments each year -- one Open A-point, one Open B-Point and one B-point Graded Tournament. In addition, two Charity Tournaments are run each year in support of the Cancer Society and the Otago Hospice.

Saturday April 19 Taieri Open B Pairs. Commence 10 am.
$12 - bring your own lunch. Light refreshment at conclusion

Sunday May 25 Otago Hospice Charity Pairs. Commence 1.30 pm.
$5 to a good cause. Good prizes, good afternoon tea.

Saturday June 14 Taieri Open A Pairs. Commence 9.30 am.
$15 - bring your own lunch. Light refreshment at conclusion

Saturday August 2 Taieri Graded Pairs Tournament. Commence 10 am
$12 - bring your own lunch. Light refreshment at conclusion

Sunday August 17 Cancer Society Charity Tournament. Commence 1.30
$5. Proceeds to Cancer Society Volunteer Group.

Teaching Programme

Classes are run each year for both beginners and improvers. Any fee charged for lessons is refundable on joining the Club. They are currently run on a Tuesday Evening from 7.30 to 9.30
